General information

East Harptree Nursery warmly welcomes families from the surrounding area, providing care and education for children from six months to five years old. If your child is allocated a place but is no longer required to attend, we kindly request that you notify us as soon as possible. To secure a place, a £45 non-refundable deposit, along with a completed booking form, is required. We encourage a minimum booking of 2 sessions per week to ensure a consistent and enriching experience for your child.

Fees

Our fee structure is designed to accommodate both year-round and term-time only children. Invoices are issued monthly for year-round attendees and termly for those attending during term time. For the most current fee information, please contact the nursery directly. We require one month’s notice if your child is leaving the nursery. Please note that fees, including pre-booked hours and optional outings, are non-refundable in the event of your child’s absence. East Harptree Nursery accepts most voucher schemes; kindly reach out to a member of our Management Team for further details.

Visits and Tours

Prospective parents and caregivers are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the nursery to arrange a visit. During these visits, you will have the opportunity to tour our facilities, meet our dedicated staff, and gain insights into our nurturing environment. We believe that a personal visit provides the best understanding of our ethos and approach to early childhood education.

Ofsted report

We take immense pride in our recent Ofsted report, which reflects the dedication and excellence that define East Harptree Nursery. Our exceptional team’s hard work and commitment to providing high-quality education and care have been acknowledged, resulting in a glowing Ofsted rating. The report highlights our nurturing environment, tailored learning experiences, and the positive impact on children’s development. We are thrilled to be recognized for our outstanding practices, innovative teaching methods, and the strong relationships we foster with both children and parents. This achievement serves as a testament to our continuous efforts to provide a stimulating and supportive atmosphere where children can thrive.

Funded Places and Financial Responsibilities

East Harptree Nursery offers 15 and 30-hour funded places through B&NES. Upon acceptance at our nursery, parents are expected to adhere to our rules and conditions, including the prompt payment of fees. Parents whose children attend multiple settings will be responsible for paying the difference between the funds received and the actual cost of care. As a self-financing charity, the nursery relies on fundraising events to supplement income from fees. We encourage all nursery members and their families to actively participate in these events, fostering a sense of community and support.

Outings and Special Events

At East Harptree Nursery, we believe in enriching experiences beyond the classroom. Each year, we organize supervised outings to various places such as local shops, schools, private gardens, and parks. These outings, along with special events, contribute to a well-rounded educational experience for your child. Rest assured, your child’s safety and enjoyment are our top priorities during these excursions.

We look forward to welcoming you to East Harptree Nursery, where every child’s journey is valued, nurtured, and celebrated. For any further inquiries or to schedule a visit, please do not hesitate to
