Staffing and Parental Involvement
We understand the significance of a strong partnership between home and nursery in ensuring the happiness and security of your child. Each child is allocated a dedicated member of staff who takes a special interest in their well-being, from the settling-in period and beyond. Our staff conducts regular observations to create individualized development plans tailored to each child’s unique stage of growth. The Keyleads maintain open communication with parents, engaging in shared record-keeping to support every child in reaching their full potential. Rest assured, all records are kept strictly confidential between you and the nursery. Our staff members are always available to discuss your child’s progress, and appointments can be scheduled with your child’s key lead for in-depth conversations.
Continuous Professional Development
Our commitment to excellence extends to the continuous training and development of our staff. They participate in regular training courses organized by both B&NES and private, professional agencies. These courses cover a range of topics, including Child Protection, Inclusion, Special Needs, First Aid, Health and Safety, and Health and Hygiene. Additionally, our staff engages in in-service training days, focusing on specialized in-house training, staff meetings, and forward planning. This comprehensive training ensures that our team is well-equipped to provide the highest quality care and support to your child.
At East Harptree Nursery, we believe that well-trained and dedicated staff members are the foundation of a successful early learning experience. Our team is passionate about nurturing your child’s potential and providing them with a secure, stimulating, and enriching environment.
